Ditch the “all or nothing” workout attitude

You use an alarm to wake up, so why not use one to remind yourself to go to bed? Set an alarm for 9 hours before you have to wake up. When it goes off, you know it’s time to start getting ready for bed. You might ignore it the first couple times, but the more you can adhere to the set sleep schedule, the better you’ll feel on a day-to-day basis.
