In this week’s post from your favorite community of San Antonio luxury apartments, we’ll break down a list of the top-rated brunch restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood. Brunch is, obviously, the most important meal of the week, and our neighborhood has plenty of brunch options. Next time your friends ask where you should go for brunch, you’ll have an answer. Nothing ruins a weekend faster than a poor brunch experience. Waiting in line is the worst, and spending a fortune on bad food is never fun. Don’t let those things happen, residents!
Check out the list of top brunch restaurants below, and remember to share this post with any friends, family or neighbors who might need a new go-to brunch spot. Happy dining!
We aren’t the first to suggest Pancake Joe’s, and we won’t be the last. That’s our way of telling you that you better get there early if you want to avoid waiting in line. Once you to get seated, however, you’ll be greeted by a friendly staff that will soon place a massive amount of food on the table in front of you. Pancake Joe’s is known for having huge serving sizes, so bring an appetite or order something that will still taste good when you heat it up later. The menu is filled with standard breakfast options, but you can’t go wrong with classics like bacon pancakes and sundae French toast.
If you tell someone you’re going to Barrio Barista, the first thing they’ll tell you is that you absolutely have to try the barbacoa grilled cheese sandwich. We’re not here to tell you anything different, but we do think you should consider a few other items on the menu as well. Order the tomato basil soup to go along with your grilled cheese, and don’t forget to get a Horchata latte to wash things down afterwards. The Barrio Barista is as much about the awesome atmosphere as it is about the delicious food, so enjoy your time there!
This is, without a doubt, the best brunch restaurant near our community of Westover Hill apartments. It has the elegant feel of the Pearl area, but you don’t have to drive all the way into the city to enjoy it. The first thing that jumps off the menu is the strawberry avocado toast, which comes with fresh berries and is topped with balsamic vinaigrette. If that doesn’t convince you to try Hop & Vine, maybe this will; instead of the usual biscuits and gravy, you can order brisket and biscuits. As far as we’re concerned, you should have brisket for every meal of the day. Check out Hop & Vine next time you’re in the mood for an upscale, trendy dining experience.
For the most authentic, flavorful, hand-made tacos around, look no further than Taqueria El Guanajuatense. The food is made from scratch, but it doesn’t take forever to get to you. The portions are big enough to fill you up, and the prices are low enough to allow you to order multiple tacos.Tacos shouldn’t be complicated, they should just be delicious. Taqueria El Guanajuatense gets that.
Those are all the brunch recommendations we’ve got this week, folks! We hope you enjoy the next breakfast taco, avocado toast, or barbacoa grilled cheese that comes across your plate.
